This historic mansion is celebrating its Centennial!
A little history . . . A developer and builder from Florida named Mr. Hobbs commissioned renowned architect, Earle Stillwell, to build his summer home in Hendersonville. The inn’s second owner, Mr. Buchanan, a movie operator, led efforts to create the epic play, Onto These Hills in Cherokee. Later, Mrs. Moore, an admirer of everything French, was gifted the house as a wedding present. In 1996, Lale and Mehmet purchased this 1920 jewel and have fashioned it into an eco-friendly boutique inn while preserving the old-world grandeur and art-deco trappings.
