Our goal at Melange is to provide you with the supreme experience of elegance and charm on your wedding day- the biggest day of your life! When you book your wedding at the Melange, you will have exclusive use of, and access to, all of our finely-appointed facilities and beautiful gardens. The Melange can accommodate the most intimate weddings for a small and select gathering or larger weddings of 125+ guests. Indeed, if your wedding party includes thirty or more guests, we will guaranty your privacy by assuring that no other event occurs on the property on the day of your wedding.
The grounds and the historic home at the Melange offer a number of magnificent location options for your wedding- both indoors and outdoors – each with its own distinct ambiance and flavor. Imagine nuptials before a delightful fountain or glorious blooming roses, or in a Mediterranean Courtyard; and photos next to a large marble fireplace, on a sweeping staircase, or beneath an ancient maple tree! Perhaps your wedding in one area, and your reception in another; and your guests enjoying the grounds as you are taking photos? Seemingly endless options, as noted below, all with beautiful surroundings!

The Tile Pavilion is an ideally versatile venue to host festivities with 2,750 sq.ft. of enclosed event space. There is a dance floor, a raised platform for live music, a bar for beverage service, and a featured wrought iron arbor. Additional 2,000 sq.ft. of adjacent lawn space houses custom stations.
Capacity: 100 – 125 seated guests.
Matisse Fountain Lawn
Set against an expansive garden of 6,500 sq.ft. the Matisse Fountain Lawn is ideal for large wedding ceremonies. An art-deco style fountain featuring a bronze by French artist Henry Matisse and a rose clad, wrought iron arbor adorn the park like setting. There is continuous blooming April to October.
Capacity: 150 seated guests
Pan Fountain Lawn and Patio
Nestled between lush greenery, this two-level grass and patio area of 2200 sq. ft. is the perfect site for an intimate wedding. A timeless maple tree anchors the popular cut-stone patio for a cocktail hour. The Romanesque arbor with a bronze of Pan is a a classic setting for exchanging vows!
Capacity : 80 seated guests
Mediterranean Courtyard and East Porch
With the old-world charm of southern Europe, the courtyard is the ideal spot for a small wedding ceremony or rehearsal dinner. The 650 sq. ft. Mediterranean Courtyard may be combined with the 500 sq.ft East Porch for a cocktail hour.
Capacity : 30-50 seated guests
Where a back-up plan against inclement weather is necessary, the Tile Pavilion is versatile and spacious to host both the ceremony and the reception.
Indoor Celebrations
If your wish is for a more intimate event, the entire air-conditioned first floor of the historic home is available. Guests enjoy the Grand Living Room, the East Porch (with the Mediterranean Court) as well as the Greenhouse and Turquoise rooms. Exquisite photo locations include the large marble fireplace and the open mahogany staircase of the foyer showcasing the bridal party.
Capacity: 20-30 seated guests for your reception or rehearsal dinner.
