Greenhouse (Breakfast) Room
An annex to the Turquoise Room, the Greenhouse is where breakfast and special events are served formally with candlelight.
East Porch
The East Porch features french doors opened in the warmer months. The porch adjoins the Living Room and the Mediterranean Courtyard
Mediterranean Courtyard
The recently renovated Mediterranean Courtyard showcases the charm of a typical courtyard scene from southern Europe.
Pan Fountain (Rose Garden) Patio
This intimate scenery is highlighted by a two tier flower garden, a patio with cut stone floor and a fountain with an antique bronze statue of a pan under a romanesque arbor. The garden is often used for weddings.
Turquoise (Dining) Room
Site of small formal dining, located in the west wing. Features hidden mirror doors that open into the butler's pantry and to the breakfast greenhouse.
Living Room
The living room is inspired after that of the gallery of Mirrors at Versailles. Features marble fireplace, antique lamps, and a Thonet sitting group.
Foyer
The foyer of Melange has much of the old French character left: Oriental carpets on the marble floor, ornate mirrors, an antique crystal chandelier and an accenting green curtain. The living room is to the left, and the study and turquoise (dining) room are to the right. The open staircase leads to the five guest rooms and to Turkish Parlor.
Turkish Parlor
Cozy reading room on the landing of the grand staircase.
